Bespoke online football prediction game for London's biggest independent lifestyle publication.
Brief
London On The Inside is London's biggest independent lifestyle publication and were looking for a unique way to engage with their 150,000+ followers during the Euro 2020 tournament.
They came up with the idea of a free to play online prediction game – the Armchair Managers' Club!
Solution
With the key objective of getting users to sign up and take part, there was naturally a heavy emphasis on the UX and UI, ensuring the website was easy to navigate and use, but also visually appealing to entice those users in.
We designed and built a completely bespoke system, using WordPress as the CMS, with front end registration and login, game prediction submission, automatic points scoring, tournament fixtures, live leaderboard and a blog.
Results
Over 1,800 signups throughout the course of the tournament
72% returning visitors over course of the tournament
